Chicken Tortilla is set to open at 1324 H St., NE. I believe it’s a second location, following the one near Barracks Row on 8th St., SE. It specializes in Peruvian chicken and burritos. Not sure if this location will have catering and delivery as the other one does. Details to follow!
Impala Cantina y Taqueira Coming Soon to 1358 H St., NE
Impala Cantina y Taqueria has applied for a liquor license and will serve Mexican style fare at 1358 H St., NE. This spot will have plenty of outdoor seating in the Spring with rooftop and garden dining. Their web address is impala-dc.com!
SOL Mexican Grill Coming Soon at 1251 H St., NE
If SOL Mexican Grill sounds familiar, it’s because it’s part of the food truck craze that’s now expanding to open a full restaurant, next door to Smith Commons, at 1251 H St., NE. They’ve applied for their liquor license and should open soon. I’ll keep you posted! Salud!
Hikari Sushi & Sake Bar Coming Soon to 644 H St., NE
There’s a new sushi spot coming to the H Street Corridor. Hikari Sushi & Sake Bar is scheduled to open soon. It’s located at 644 H Steet, NE, and will give some competition to Sticky Rice, just down the road. No word on the exact opening date. Shouldn’t be too much longer…. Stay tuned! Cheers!
